The 12th festival commemorating the Russells is taking place in Doolin from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th of February next.
This year’s Saturday concert in the Russell Cultural Centre, Doolin will feature the renowned Galway folk singer Seán Keane, who is considered one of Ireland's most talented and versatile folk singers. His three acclaimed solo albums have firmly established him as one of Ireland's most versatile and talented singers. A natural and gifted performer on stage has won him the coveted award of "Performer of the Year” in 1997/98 and 1998/99. As a member of the Keane musical family his repertoire naturally includes many traditional songs, but well within his range are country, blues and pop songs.
