as an educational resource and a socially inclusive cultural service for the people of Clare and visiting tourists.



Recent Additions

2015

The objects photographed opposite are representative of artefacts donated to Clare Museum during 2015. These photographs were taken as part of a long-term project to digitize the collection. Funding for this project was provided by the Heritage Council and the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage in 2020, under the Heritage Council’s Community Heritage Grant scheme.

Monday to Saturday 9.30-17.30

(Closed for lunch each day from 13.00 to 14.00 and Bank Holiday Saturdays)

Last admission before lunch is 12.30 and 17.00 in the evening.
