Clare County Museum - Recent Additions collect, preserve, interpret and display the material culture relating to the history of County Clare, both in the museum building and online,
as an educational resource and a socially inclusive cultural service for the people of Clare and visiting tourists.

Recent Additions


The objects photographed opposite are representative of artefacts donated to Clare Museum during 2014. These photographs were taken as part of a long-term project to digitize the collection. Funding for this project was provided by the Heritage Council and the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage in 2020, under the Heritage Council’s Community Heritage Grant scheme.
