Dr. Patrick Hillery Collection
Dr Patrick Hillery,
from Spanish Point, served as
President of Ireland from 1976-1990. The artefacts
listed here were donated to the museum in
instalments since 2000 and consist of souvenirs of
state visits, gifts from Irish community groups, and
personal ephemera. Some of these also featured
in the temporary exhibition From There to Here:
the state visits of the Hillery Presidency.
