Projects: Preserving the Past for the Future: Raheen Hospital and Daycare Centre | |||||
Between January and April 2005, the clients of Raheen Hospital and Daycare Centre were invited to take part in a reminiscence project called Preserving the Past for the Future. As part of Clare Museum's outreach programme, the curator took collections of objects from the museum's reserve collection out to the hospital to stimulate personal recollections. After a period, the clients were invited to bring in family heirlooms, or objects that represented their lives and to recall memories associated with them. This information was then recorded and photographs taken for posterity. Click
