The material in these pages has come from a variety of sources.
Initially research into the Surname “Delahunty” was undertaken, however with the finding of the Marriage Certificate of John Doloughty/Doolaghty and Elizabeth, inquiries were made regarding these Surnames. Readers of this history should be aware that our Surname varied in spelling considerably at different times. Please take this into account when reading this history.
I have endeavoured to keep this history accurate and beg immunity from prosecution should the more serious reader pick up errors/omissions!
