Guy's Directory, 1893
 

 

"Guy’s Directory of Munster", 1893, covers the six counties of Munster. Each county contains lists of magistrates, churches and clergy.

Poor Law Unions and their officers, constabulary and other officials. A postal directory of each county contains the postal towns and villages in alphabetical order, each with its own lists of gentry, clergy, traders and farmers. The Clare section of the directory contains entries for 78 towns and villages and was the most detailed directory published on the county at that time.
