Part 4: Killaloe: Post Office, Conveyance by Water

POST OFFICE, Margaret Thompson, Post Mistress. Letters from DUBLIN, &c. arrive every morning at eight, and are despatched every afternoon at a quarter past four. Letters from LIMERICK, CORK, &c. arrive every evening at six, and are despatched every morning at half-past five.

Conveyance by Water:
To LIMERICK, a Packet Boat, every morning (Sunday excepted) at seven, and returns in the evening at seven and one, every afternoon (Sunday excepted) at four, and returns every morning at ten.
To PORTUMNA, a Steamer, every morning (Sunday excepted) at ten, meeting the Packet for Dublin, and returns in the afternoon at half-past three.
