It is believed that the Laurence Keane living in Muckinish East is the father of Bridget, Mary and Patrick; this is based on detailed examination of all the available records, including land records, the 1901 Census, the death certificates of Laurence and Kate and the marriage certificate of Mary Ann Keane and John Joseph Leyden/Lydon.

Catherine/Kate Keane. Her married name was Keane.
She was born circa 1819 in Ireland (Date of birth calculated from
age at death).
Kate died on 19 May 1899, of old age,
at the age of 80, at Muckinish, District of Ballyvaughan, Clare, Ireland,
it is recorded on the certificate that Kate was the wife of a Labourer
and her husband Laurence was present at her death (Copy of Death
