In this memoir, Michael Peyton recalls visits to his mother’s
McGrath relations in Newmarket-on-Fergus
where her father was a victualler and shopkeeper. He describes the people
who frequented the shop and other residents of the village as well as
visits to a neighbouring farm and to Lisdoonvarna
