These returns (reports) detail land purchases made by Clare residents between April and December 1912. The purchases were enabled by the Wyndham Land (Purchase) Act of 1903 which established a new scheme for tenant land purchase. Sharon Carberry has extracted the names of the Clare tenants from these reports and the estates from which they purchased their land.
