Keighley Edward Graham was born on 29 April 1904 and died on 11 December 1974. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Clennett (formerly Miocevich nee Graham), three grandchildren, Stephanie Lanigan, Kellie Dobbie and Grant Miocevich and six great grandchildren, at present, Fletcher Lanigan, Andrew Lanigan, Christian Dobbie, Ella Dobbie, Evan James Miocevich and Harry Finn Miocevich. His first wife, Nancy, passed away in 1963 and his second wife, Co, is ninety seven years of age. Her three sons, John, William and Gerald Van Didden and their families, whom I met yesterday after many lost years, live in Western Australia and Queensland.

Keighley’s diary or memoirs were written between 31 March and 17 August 1974 and do provide a very personal perspective of the events, situations and relationships which shaped his formative years in Canada and England and the remainder of his life in Australia, namely, Perth, Western Australia. It is by no means a definitive historical record but a record it is, and one that has inspired a genuine interest, affection and love for the Graham family heritage not to mention that of his wife, Nancy Grieve - however - to a lesser degree, as will be explained in the Foreword.
