I.R.A. Volunteers in County Clare, 1916-1925


The Diamond Jubilee edition of The Banner, published by the Claremen and Women’s Patriotic, Benevolent and Social Association of New York in 1963 published a Roll of Honour of active members of the IRA in County Clare between 1916 and 1925 which had originally appeared in the Clare Champion. The Banner also published biographies of a number of these Volunteers, which we also reproduce here. The list of Volunteers in The Banner's article is incomplete.
