Location and Brief Description:
Turning off the main Tulla - Scariff road at Ballinahinch cross and travelling about four miles one meets with the village of Feakle situated in a glen at a distance of six miles from Tulla and Scariff. It is a fairly large village composed of many small shops and public houses and being in such an isolated part of Clare is a very good business centre for the people of the parish.
