Distant from Limerick 12 miles and 5 from Ennis, the arable is good for stock and corn and with the corcas are in good heart, though chargeable to maintain the sea banks and sluices; it has a castle on it in good repair with stable, malt house, barn etc. and a kitchen garden with some fruit trees. Ballynacraggy and Rathfolane are colder and a shallower soil than the former and have no improvements but an orchard on the latter and some cabins where cottiers live. There is a hop yard the value or profit of which I cannot tell.

Parish of Tomfinlagh

Ballycarr and Lismultoone, Killullabegg, Granahane, bog in common to Killullabegg, Lismultoone, Lisleagh and Killullamore: Total content 549a. 3r. 8p. Value £89. 2s. 0d. Bally-carr and Lismultoone is good land for black cattle or sheep and the arable will bring good corn when manured with lime or sand both of which it’s well furnished with; has on it an old orchard, a good castle and 3 houses.
