The school provides speech and drama classes for children after school with Evelyn McMahon and participates in football, soccer, hurling and Feile na hInse competitions each year.

The school is currently involved in the “Building for the Future Competition,” associated with the Irish Independent. They must submit a project on a favourite building in the locality.

Extra-curricular activities include Boxing and Judo.
The children have Music lessons with Mr. Searson.
Mr. Pat O’Dwyer has recently been appointed Sports Co-Ordinator and comes once a week to the school.
