Maisie Hitchins: The Case of the Stolen Sixpence

Maisie is a very determined heroine and the bravest little detective in Victorian London. She lives in her grandmother's boarding house and longs for adventure. the mystery behind the disappearance of coins which led to George, the
butcher's assistant being sacked. She will stop at nothing to find out
the truth and assisted by the very interesting lodgers in her grandmother's
house who help with ingenious plots and stunning disguises she becomes
an accomplished detective.
