Diary of a Wimpy Vampire: because the undead have feelings too by Tim Collins
Published by Michael O'Mara, 2010

This title cleverly appeals to the millions of fans of Jeff Kinney’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid books and to teenagers who seem to have little else to choose from but vampire sagas from today’s publishers.

Diary of a Wimpy Vampire is an hilarious account of Nigel Mullet’s transformation from an acne troubled teenager with a breaking voice to a vampire at the age of fifteen. To make matters worse he will remain this age forever and will never be free of the usual teenage afflictions. Even his clumsiness around girls will never be resolved. Watch out Chloe Sparrow, the object of Nigel’s affections and into whose neck he longs to sink his fangs.

Nigel is the constantly mortified by his vampire parents, he worries that they might accidentally eat one of his friends, and all hopes of restful morning lie-ins belong in the past because vampires don’t sleep.

Described as Twilight meets Adrian Mole this is a real laugh out loud parody of all things vampirish!
