This book of poems and pictures for globetrotters proved very popular
with members of the Kilmihil Children’s Book Club. The poems
are all very humorous and enjoyable and the book club thought that
all the illustrations suited the poems very well and made the book
much easier to read.
Favourite poems
included ‘Row, Row, Row Your Bath’, ‘No Room to
Swing a Cat’, ‘I Feel Sick’, ‘The Teacher’s
Holiday Lament’ and the tongue twister ‘I Saw the Sea’.
We rated this
book of poems at ten out of ten and most of the children who read
it said that they would read other books by Colin McNaughton.
