Childrens Summer Reading Scheme 2003
For
the second year running Clare County Library offered children the
opportunity to participate in a Summer Reading Scheme.
Once
again the scheme proved very popular with children aged between
7 and 12. Authors featured this year included Eoin Colfer, Anne
Fine, Michael Morpurgo, Darren Shan and the age-old favourite Roald
Dahl to name but five from a list of twenty. Children could also
choose books from The Oxford Reading Tree literacy scheme if they
so wished.
Certificates
of achievement signed by County Librarian, Noel Crowley were presented
to all participants in September.
