Libby

Libby (formerly RBdigital) contains over three thousand e-magazines including titles for children. These are available 24/7 and offer the latest and back issues of some of your favorite magazines with no check out limits and unlimited downloads.

Choose from a variety of amazing e-magazines covering everything from fashion, home and garden, food and cooking, sport, current affairs and science and technology.

You can read them online or download to your PC, smartphone or tablet. All you need is your library card number and your PIN.

Step1
Install the Libby app from your device's app store.

Or, visit libbyapp.com in your Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge (Chromium) browser.

Step 2
In Libby, follow the prompts to find your library and sign in with a library card.

Step 3
Browse the vast selection of e-magazines that are available and borrow a title using your library card number and your PIN.

Your borrowed magazines will be available for 21 days on your account. After this time, you will need to borrow it again if you need more time.

Data Protection
We provide access for members to third-party online e-resources such as e-books, e-audiobooks, e-magazines and digital comics in conjunction with the LGMA. These third parties are data controllers in their own right. Clare County Library do not share your personal data with these third parties. We do allow them to check certain information items against the LMS system in order to confirm their validity. Members join each of these services separately to their library membership and give explicit consent to the third parties for the processing. You should refer to their privacy statements for information about what they do with your data and what rights are available to you. You can access each of these privacy statements when you create your account.
