8.19 Appendix I: Family Databases: Soldiers 1831-1853 Soldiers 1831-1853 Royal Artillery soldiers were stationed on Scattery Battery (Fort) from 1814 to 1891. Extensive searches in The National Archives only yielded the following information. It appears that the Brigade was mainly reported on as one unit covering a number of Batteries with individual names but without exact locations. WO = War Office. |
